The world is full of beauty; it can be found in all good things. I find it interesting to discover and study what the real beauty of an object is. It is completely invigorating.
Early one morning, while I was in Grand Teton National Park, I was parked at Oxbow Bend, and I took a picture of the Tetons, reflected off from the water. Of the thousands of pictures I took during the next week, this was the last on my list to look at, I was completely disinterested. As time went on, it became my favorite picture from the trip.
Why did this happen you might ask? I believe that it is because I was looking very intently for something much more grand to capture. When perfection is your goal, don't over look the truly magnificent things around you. True perfection is a peace of mind rather than a stunning photograph.
